VCN – Mong Cai Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) has discovered and seized 7 smuggled mobile phones.

140 smuggled iPhone were seized by Mong Cai Customs in April 2017.

At 5:30 PM, on 27/7, at Hong Van Hotel Gate in District I, Ka Long Ward, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh province, Customs forces discovered Mr. Đ. V.T (was born in 1/7/1984; lives in zone 5, Hai Yen ward, Mong Cai city) have suspicious signs of trading imported goods without valid vouchers in Customs operation area by buying goods in Vinh Co market (Tran Phu, Mong Cai).

In there, the Customs forces seized seven mobile phones touch screen, no brand, no accessories attached, brand new 100% and produced by foreigners. Those unknown mobile phones were hidden in motorbike trunk and transported to inland for domestic consumption by T.

Earlier, at the end of April 2017, Mong Cai Customs also detected 140 iPhones which were hidden by wrapping round body of Chinese people for transporting illegally into Vietnam.
