HCM City Customs trains on rules of origin for European enterprises

VCN – Information on rules of origin of goods in the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union (EVFTA) will be HCM City Customs Department introduced specifically and offered training for European firms.

According to Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of Division of Import – Export Duty Division – HCM City Customs Department, the unit will coordinate with the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham) to hold two training session for European business community to introduce regulations on rule of origin in EVFTA.

HCM City Customs Department will hold two specialised training sessions and topic 1 will focus on introduction of contents relating to electronic C/O and seft-certification of goods on August 26, 2020.

Topic 2 will be on Harmonized System (HS code) which will be held on September 4th, 2020.

Over the past time, HCM City Customs Departent and Eurocham have cooperated to hold many training programmes, dialoge with European enterprises to inform, instructe on new policies and documents relating to duty policies and customs procedures and have been highly appriciated by the enterprises.
