Hanoi Customs manages 12 authorized economic operators

VCN – According to Hanoi Customs Department, currently, the unit manages 12 authorized economic operators, accounting for 16% of the total number of authorized economic operators (AEOs) in the whole country.

Twelve priority enterprises managed by Hanoi Customs Department include Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd; Denso Vietnam Co., Ltd; Panasonic Systems Networks Vietnam Co., Ltd; Hoya Glass Disk Vietnam Co., Ltd; Vicostone Joint Stock Company; Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd; Garment 10 Corporation – JSC; Jahwa Vina Co., Ltd; Sumi – Hanel Wiring System Co., Ltd; Hanyang Digitech Vina Co., Ltd; Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd; Compal Vietnam Co., Ltd.

According to Hanoi Customs Department, businesses and customs branches under Hanoi Customs cooperate well in carrying out customs procedures. However, although basically, the enterprises obeyed the law well, in the third quarter, there was an enterprise that was handled for administrative violations due to making a wrong declaration of the HS code and import tax rate, leading to a lack of tax payable; the remaining enterprises obeyed the law well and were not sanctioned for administrative violations in the field of customs.

Currently, 75 enterprises in the country are applying the AEO regime in the field of customs.
