Some sub-departments under the Department have completed the assigned State budget early such as Vinh Phuc Customs Branch; Ha Tay Customs Branch; Customs Branch Bac Thang Long; Noi Bai international airport Customs Branch, and Yen Vien International railway station Customs Branch.
The other Customs Branches under Hanoi Customs Department are rushing to implement drastic measures in order to complete the target of collecting their State budget in 2016.
Currently, Hanoi Customs Department is concentrating on solutions deployment for accomplishing the task with highest revenue. The reason is that, compared to the target that was set by the Ministry of Finance (19,600 billion VND), the above figure is only 93.15% of target.
Leaders of the Hanoi Customs Department have directed subordinate units to implement the operating regime even on the holidays.
Besides that, the Customs Department also focuses on implementing Export - Import Law and Decree 134/2016/ND-CP of the Government to the business community; answers problems in the process of implementing documents and policies in time. At the same time, continues to facilitate import and export enterprises in the province by eliminating difficulties for enterprises.
Along with that, Hanoi Customs Department also focusses on implementing solutions to reduce losses of revenue such as: Regularly conducting post clearance audits on valuation of clearance shipments within 60 days for key commodities; Daily review the data on the system in order to notify to sub-department to fix immediately when making mistakes about valuation; focussing on Customs officers allocated to tasks who are qualified, have experience and are well-trained to do the work about valuation and post clearance audit.
