Hai Phong Customs collects about VND 100 billion post clearance audit

On January 17, the leader of Post Clearance Audit Customs Branch (Hai Phong Customs Branch) said that the branch has updated the performance results in 2023 with positive result.
The branch conducted 249 post clearance audits in 2023, collected VND82.1 billion, exeeding 39.2% compared with the target in the previous year.
The branch proposed the leader of Hai Phong Customs Department to issue Dispactch Offical No. 10934/HQHP-KTSTQ dated November 13, 2023 requesting local customs branches to check, review and handle additional tax declarations from 8% to 10% with a total incresed tax revenue of VND16billion.
In the year, the branch implemented tax assessment of VND97.2 billion.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs said that Hai Phong Customs Department is one of local customs departments that contributed the year-on-year surged revenue from post clearance audit (such as Hanoi, Binh Duong, Long An, Lang Son...).
The revenue from post clearance audit by Hai Phong Customs Department accounts for 10% of the total revenue of the whole Customs sector.
