Ha Tinh Customs coordinates to successfully close specialised project of drugs

VCN – The Anti-drugs Enforcement Unit (Ha Tinh Customs Department) worked with Nghe An Police and Ha Tinh Police to close a specialised project, arrest three subjects and seize 6kg of methamphetamine, four bricks of heroin, two cars and one mobile phone.

At about 12:45 PM on April 26, on National Highway 8A, crossing the territory of Bong Phai village, Son Tay commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, the Project Committee including the Drug-related crime Investigation Police Division, Thanh Chuong District Police (Nghe An Police), Drug-related crime investigation Police Division (Ha Tinh Police), Huong Son District Police, Anti-drug Enforcement Team (Ha Tinh Customs Department) successfully closed the project and caught Nguyen Ngoc Nam (born in 1983, residing in Dong Hoa hamlet, Thanh Hoa commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province) while he was illegally transporting narcotics.

Through conducting an inspection, the Project Committee seized 6 kg of methamphetamine, four bricks of heroin, one car with license plate No.37A-763.50 and one mobile phone.

At 3:00 PM on the same day, in Son Tay commune, Huong Son district, the Project Committee arrested two more subjects for trafficking drugs, seizing one car.

Nghe An police will continue to consolidate records and documents to expand the specialised project
