Ha Tinh arrests people for trafficking 1kg of drug and 2,000 tablets of amphetamine

VCN – The Investigation Police Department of Drug-related Crimes (PC04) under Ha Tinh Public Security has arrested people suspected of trafficking drugs in large volume from borders to the inland.

On July 11, at Vinh Gia village, Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc district, PC04 worked with Can Loc District Police and Ha Tinh City Public Security to arrest three people including: Nguyen Truong Giang, born in 1989, residing in Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city; Tran Chi Nghia, born in 1980, residing in Cam Xuyen town, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province and Tran Hau Hieu, born in 1987, residing in group 8, Tran Phu ward, Ha Tinh city for alleged illegal trading and storing of drugs.

The authorities seized one kg of meth, 2,000 tablets of amphetamine, one INNOVA car, VND26 million and five mobile phones of all kinds.

Per police, so far this year, Nguyen Truong Giang used to travel to border areas to buy drugs to sell to retailers in Thach Ha district Ha Tinh city, Can Loc, Cam Xuyen.

The case is being investigated.
