Ha Tinh arrests a person trading fresh opium

VCN – According to Steering Committee 389 Ha Tinh, Criminal Investigation Police Division on Drugs (Ha Tinh Police) recently discovered and arrested a person for illegally storing 7 kg of fresh opium.

At 10 AM, on 4/3, at the coffee shop Y Nga (Tran Phu Street, Bac Ha Ward, Ha Tinh City), the criminal investigation police division on drugs detected and arrested Vo Duc Son (was born in 1986, lived in Son Quang Ward, Huong Son District) for committing an offense of storing an illegal narcotic.

At the scene, the working group seized 7 kg of fresh opium and some related evidence.

Through investigation, it found that, Vo Duc Son had come to Ky Anh town many times to buy fresh opium then took it to Ha Tinh City and other regions for earning profits. Currently, the competent force is investigating for clarification and settlement of the offence in accordance with law.
