Facilitating Customs clearance of goods in Cat Linh-Ha Dong railway project

Accordingly, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has required provincial/municipal Customs Departments to direct the Customs Branch when carrying out Customs procedures for imported goods as information equipment in service of the Hanoi railway project, the Cat Linh-Ha Dong route, urgently review and resolve related procedures, facilitate the clearance of goods quickly and properly ensure the progress of completion of the project.
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport has also issued written request to the Department of Telecommunications- the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the General Department of Vietnam Customs to facilitate the shipment of information equipment to be cleared in order to carry out the installation of equipment. After the device has been shipped to the site, the Telecommunications Department will continue sampling for specific verification and probability testing.

The Hanoi Railway project, the Cat Linh-Ha Dong route is a key project that the National Assembly and the Government of Vietnam and China paid much attention to. Currently, the Ministry of Transport is determined to direct the Railway Project Management Board, General Contractor EPC and related units to focus on human resources, machinery, and equipment to complete the construction of the project to put into a trial run in late 2017.
