Dong Nai Customs developed four scenarios of anti-pandemic

VCN - To protect the health of customs officials and employees against the risk of Covid-19 infection, ensuring State management of customs at the unit, Dong Nai Customs Department recently issued a plan to develop plans and measures to cope with Covid-19 pandemic.

Dong Nai Customs prepares plans to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic

The anti-pandemic plan at the headquarters of the department will be implemented based on the following four scenarios:

Scenario 1 - no cases of infection: Prepare an isolation room t respond immediately after detecting someone in the unit infected or showing signs or symptoms of infection. They will be requested for immediate isolation. Strictly comply with 5K requirements and the regulations of the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

When detecting cases of suspected infection, immediately work with health authorities and agencies to take appropriate measures, and inform the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Department.

Regarding working organisation: limit unnecessary meetings, conferences, events, activities, prioritise online forms and implementing appropriate distance to ensure safety; enhancing application of IT and electronic equipment in handling, directing and administration.

Scenario 2 – someone has direct contact with F0: Conduct isolation for F1 people in the unit's isolation room and move to the concentrated isolation area in accordance with regulations. Notify the Steering Committee for Covid-19 pandemic Prevention and Control of the department, health agencies and competent agencies to receive treatment plans. Implement temporary blockade if necessary.

Regarding working organisation: Temporarily suspending direct work during the temporary blockade (if any), directing and handling work via IT applications. Checking and classifying customs officials and employees, assigning and arranging working rotation.

Scenario 3 – There is a case of F0 infection: Working with health authorities to localise the outbreak; closely monitor movement and isolation of cases as well as F1, F2, F3 people; blockade the entire working area if required; conduct tracing and disease prevention on a large scale.

In this scenario, the unit also ensures the plan and measures to prevent and control the pandemic in case of a widespread outbreak. Making daily and irregular reports on pandemic developments in accordance with regulations and requirements of leaders at all levels. Enhancing hygiene and sterilisation; Updating information, media messages, pandemic prevention recommendations.

Scenario 4 - the disease spreads in the unit: Immediately blockade the entire headquarters of the department. Making announcements on dangerous conditions. Imposing a travel ban. Stop working; health declaration; self-isolate at home, waiting for a treatment plan from the local health authority. Disinfect the entire unit.

Regarding working organisation: temporarily suspending direct work during the temporary blockade (if any), directing and handling work via IT applications.

In a necessary and urgent case, classify and arrange uninfected customs official; are not subject to isolation to return to work. Wearing anti-pandemic protective clothing during the whole time coming to the office for work.

For the headquarters of affiliated customs branch, including the Customs Enforcement Team:

Pandemic prevention and control is carried out step by step in accordance with the scenarios as designated at the headquarters. In case of being forced to blockade, concentrated isolation of any unit, immediately activate the "Backup clearance point" that has been built, ensuring the implementation of state management of customs in the area.

In addition, paying attention to the prevention of cross-infection for customs official and employees during the temporary blockade. When taking patients to quarantine, they must ensure order and practice distance as complied with the regulations and guidelines from health authorities.
