VCN – The Anti-Drug Enforcement Team under Dien Bien Customs Department seized 3,150g of heroin after a man attempted to illegally transport the drugs at Song Ma District, Son La Province, authorities said.

Dien Bien Customs seizes nine packages of heroin

The suspect and nine packages of heroin.

On August 26, officers of Dien Bien Customs Department and Son La Provincial Police arrested a suspect for illegal transportation of drugs and seized nine packages of heroin with total weight of 3,150g, two mobile phones and one motorcycle.

The case is under investigation by competent authorities.

Earlier, on August 22 and 23, the Tay Trang International Border Gate Customs Branch (under Dien Bien Customs Department) handled two cases and arrested two suspects transporting 149.11 grams of heroin and 1,000 methamphetamine pills and a package of heroin.
