Dien Bien Customs coordinated to arrest a subject who transported 22,000 tablets of Ecstasy

Implementing project No. 217T , at 1pm on 28 February, the Drug Enforcement unit in coordination with the Dien Bien police detected a group of suspicious people trading and exchanging drugs while fulfilling their vduty in the area of ​​ Ten Nua, Nua Ngam district, Dien Bien province.

Seeing functional forces at the scene, the subject ran away. Then the working group pursued and arrested a subject Vang A Thong, born in 1989 (residing in the Na Pandan, Hakka Muong commune of Dien Bien district).

Investigating on the scene, the functional forces seized 110 blue plastic bags, containing a total of 22,000 pink tablets.

After struggling, Vang A Thong confessed that the pink tablets were synthetic drugs (Ecstasy) on the way to consume then being discovered and seized by functional forces.

Currently functional forces have completed records. The exhibits and subjects were handed over to Dien Bien police for expanding investigates.
