VCN – Da Nang international airport Customs Branch coordinated with Operation and Transportation Center of Da Nang post, PC47 – Da Nang City Police to discover and seize 3 packages of marijuana. The total weight was 166g hidden inside a gift consignment of mail and chocolate.

Accordingly, on 7/12, at the Operation and Transportation Center of Da Nang post, Da Nang Customs force coordinated with competent forces in the area to conduct a physical inspection. As a result, they discovered a suspected gift consignment with the name of the consignor: Leo Fermandez. Address, 305 Colombus Ave San Franciso, 94102. The consignee was: Jessica Davis C/O Dingo Deli. Address: 227 Cua Dai, Hoi An, Quang Nam.

A thorough physical inspection by the competent Customs force detected 3 packs of marijuana resin weighing 166 grams. The packs were put inside an envelope along with 1 bar of chocolate and 2 postcards and sent by post to Vietnam.

The competent forces made a decision and issued a report for temporary seizure. Then reported to their leader and collaborated with competent authorities for further handling.
