On 1st September 2016, speaking to a reporter of the Customs Newspaper, Mr. Dao The Nhut - the Deputy Director of the Da Nang Customs Department said that the Department had worked with local authorities to apply IT systems for connection with the National Aviation Single Window.

Accordingly, the functional units, including the Animal Health Agency Region IV; the Quarantine Branch Region III; the Da Nang Quarantine and International Health Center; the Central Airport authorities and the Police of Da Nang International Airport IT have secure IT systems to connect to the National Aviation Single Window.

"However, the time and the schedule for the implementation of the National Aviation Single Window in Da Nang depends on specific plans of the General Department of Vietnam Customs" - Mr. Dao The Nhut added.

The National Aviation Single Window was first implemented in Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) from from 1st January 2017. The first Airline participating in the National Aviation Single Window is Vietnam Airlines.
