Recently, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) announced that Da Nang International Terminal is certified by Skytrax as the first 4-star terminal in Vietnam. Skytrax is an international air transport rating organization established in 1989 and based in London, UK.

Skytrax has many rating programs, including the World Airline and Airport Star Rating program. The program was introduced in 1999 and is a leading international rating system that classifies airlines and airports by the quality of product and staff service standards.

Currently, 8 Asia-based airports have been certified 5-star airports and 24 airports have been certified 4-star airports for their service quality standards by Skytrax.

In an official thank-you letter to the Da Nang International Airport Customs Branch, the AHT expressed that the achievement played a very important contribution to the Da Nang International Airport Customs Branch, the effective direction of leaders, the performance of branch’s staff 24/24h to ensure timely service of flights during peak hours, and strict control of goods service operators to comply with the law, as well as the coordination in the organization of events to promote images, welcome delegations and new airline routes at the terminal.

Since 2019, Da Nang International Terminal has upgraded infrastructure, invested in technology, renovated the landscape, trained and developed human resources, and optimized the service process to reach 4-star standards.

The terminal has upgraded its infrastructure and renovated the green space landscape; installed E-Standee e-board system at all departure gates; developed a children's play area.

The terminal also prioritizes investment in supporting technology equipment such as automated check-in system, automated baggage deposit, Automated Boarding Pass Control. In addition, the terminal facilities are expanded to bring practical and timely support to all inbound and outbound passengers such as free baby strollers, help desk, medical room, prayer room.

Da Nang International Terminal also pioneered local culture and traditional performances into the diversified entertainment activities.
