Officials found the rhino horns and wildlife bones in a shipment sent from South Africa to Tien Sa Port.
On July 17, Da Nang Seaport Customs Branch inspected an imported consignment.
Customs officers found more than 138 kg of suspected rhino horns and over 3.1 tonnes of wildlife bones.
The goods are listed among the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
The goods were packed in carton boxes in a container and declared as wood.
Da Nang Customs Department has worked with relevant authorities to investigate the case.
