According to the Head of Customs Control and Supervision Division (Da Nang Customs Department) Cao Van Nhan, in the face of the world economic decline due to political fluctuations, inflation has affected Vietnam's economic growth in general and Da Nang in particular, businesses have faced many disadvantages, risks and challenges. Therefore, Da Nang Customs Department leaders were directed to set up working groups to visit, share and remove obstacles, facilitate import and export activities for enterprises located in the area and carry out customs procedures at branches under the Department.
It is known that in April, working groups led by Da Nang Customs Department leaders will directly visit 15 enterprises to grasp the situation of production, import and export activities. These enterprises contribute a large amount of state revenue to the unit. Therefore, not only at the Department level but at branches, activities of visiting, sharing and removing difficulties directly at enterprises will also be implemented until the end of 2023.
According to the Customs Control and Supervision Division representative, through the above activities, customs authority has supported and created maximum advantages for enterprises in import and export activities.
As of April 4, 2023, the revenues from import and export activities in Da Nang city was VND991.65 billion, reaching 19.83% of the assigned target (VND5,000 billion), a decline of 25.7% over the same period in 2022 (VND 1,334.88 billion).
