Of 4 Customs Branches in Hai Phong, the Customs Branch of Hai Phong port, Region II and the Customs Branch of Hai Phong port, Region III has the largest backlog of containers.

In order to handle the backlog of goods, Hai Phong Customs Department assigned the Customs Control Team to resolve the backlog of containers from 2013 and earlier. The backlog of containers from 2013 to date will be handled by the Customs Branches of ports. Currently, the functional units of Hai Phong Customs Department are actively processing the backlog, particularly for used automobile tires to prevent the risk of insecurity and environmental pollution.
