Customs Branch of Good Verification has operated since September 2022. Accordingly, in 2022, the branch received two applications, including one for classification analysis, and one for verification.

From the beginning of 2023, the branch has received 109 applications, including 31 applications for classification analysis and 78 applications for verification. The branch has issued notifications for 107 applications. The analyzed and classified items mainly are fabric, paper, polymers, chemicals..., and mostly in Phu My Customs Branch (101 samples), and the remaining items at Customs Branches of Cai Mep, Vung Tau Seaport, Cat Lo.

At the signing ceremony, Deputy Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department Dam Manh Hieu said that the establishment and operation of the Cai Mep-Thi Vai Customs Branch of Good Verification has shown the support of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs in facilitating import and export goods. This has helped reduce customs clearance time and costs for businesses.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department and Cai Mep -Thi Vai Customs Branch of Good Verification have actively coordinated in analyzing and classifying goods for businesses. However, the cooperation has not been implemented effectively. Therefore, the signing of the Coordination Regulations will facilitate two units in the work.

Deputy Director of the Customs Department of Good Verification Nguyen Xuan Cuong also shared positive results in simplifying procedures for analysis, classification and verification in recent times. Regarding Decision 38/QD-TTg approving the project on reforming the model of quality inspection and food safety inspection for imports, the department has prepared a draft for the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Ministry of Finance to submit to the Government to issue new regulations on specialized inspection, thereby creating a breakthrough in reforming administrative procedures for import and export goods.
