Over the past period, the development of the Customs-Business partnership has been a top priority for the Customs sector, particularly the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department. This partnership is implemented through four major solution groups: information, consultation, participation, and cooperation.
To date, the development of the Customs-Business partnership has yielded many positive results for both the Customs authorities and the business community.
At the conference, businesses acknowledged the Customs authority's active support in facilitating procedures and promptly addressing their challenges.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the Production Operations Center at Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) Co., Ltd., said that the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department has been supporting businesses by quickly processing procedures, providing enthusiastic policy advice, and cooperating to resolve cargo congestion at the port. The company hopes that in the future, the connection system between the port and the Customs authorities will be more synchronized and stable.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Director of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department, said that to develop the Customs-Business partnership effectively and substantively, the Customs authority always considers businesses as trusted partners, working together for development and aiming to build a partnership associated with digital transformation in customs state management.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang also requested that customs officials proactively approach businesses' difficulties as soon as possible, work together with businesses to overcome challenges, and make suggestions to facilitate work.
The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department has also intensified training for its officials and staff. Officials need to have a clear understanding of the businesses that have signed cooperation agreements to facilitate them to the maximum extent; as partnerships develop, the partnership between Customs and businesses will become more substantive.
