By inspecting one enterprise headquartered at Phu My 1 Industrial Zone (Phu My Ward, Phu My Town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province), Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department discovered this enterprise had a difference between the amount of backlogged import raw materials for export production as declared to customs authorities and the actual amount of backlogged goods. However, this business could not identify the difference.
For the above reason, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department issued a decision to fix a tax on the differential amount of materials as mentioned above with a total amount of 1,360 million VND. Of that the import duty was more than 553 million VND and safeguards duty was nearly 810 million VND.
