Appointing Mr. Quach Dang Hoa as Director of Da Nang Customs Department

VCN- On 26th December 2018, at Da Nang Customs Department, the General Department of Vietnam Customs held a ceremony to announce the Decision 3689/QD-TCHQ dated 18th December 2018, of the Director General of Vietnam Customs to appoint Mr. Quach Dang Hoa, Director of Risk Management Department (under the General Department of Vietnam Customs) as Director of Da Nang Customs Department to replace Mr. Nguyen Tien Tho, who is retiring in accordance with provisions. Director General of Vietnam Customs, Nguyen Van Can attended and awarded the Decision. Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, boards and branches of Da Nang City.

At the ceremony, the representative of Personnel and Organization Department announced Decision 3689/QD-TCHQ dated 18th December 2018 of the Director General of Vietnam Customs on term appointment for Mr. Quach Dang Hoa, Director of Risk Management Department as Director of Da Nang Customs Department from 1st January 2019.

After awarding the Decision to Mr. Quach Dang Hoa, Director General Nguyen Van Can congratulated the new Director of Da Nang Customs Department and said that the appointment to Mr. Quach Dang Hoa complies with provisions.

At the same time, this result has shown the efforts and endeavours of Mr. Quach Dang Hoa, and the trust placed in him for the assigned tasks of leadership of the General Department of Customs. The Director General believed that with Mr. Hoa’s qualification and ability, he will successfully fulfill his assigned tasks.

Assigning the tasks to the new Director, Director General Nguyen Van Can emphasized that as the new leader, Mr. Quach Dang Hoa needs to promote qualification, ability, learn from Da Nang Customs Department’s experience and traditions over the past years; continuously accelerate customs modernization reform; strengthen anti-smuggling and trade fraud; facilitate import and export activities, immigration, contributing to the development of investment, economy, and tourism in Da Nang city and the Central region.

New Director of Da Nang Customs Department Quach Dang Hoa, promised that he will apply knowledge and experience to his new work and try his best together with the GDVC leaders to promote the tradition of solidarity and achievements, to develop the Da Nang Customs professionalism, transparency and efficiency and fulfill tasks well in the following years.
