Appoint leadership positions of Risk Management Department and Customs Control and Supervision Department

At the ceremony, the representative of Personnel and Organization Department (under General Department of Vietnam Customs) announced Decision 3738/QD-TCHQ of the Director General of Vietnam Customs on appointment for Mr. Nguyen Nhat Kha, Deputy Director of Risk Management Department as the Acting Director of Risk Management Department, and Decision 3739/QĐ-TCHQ on appointment for Mr. Tran Duc Hung, Deputy Director of General Department Office as Deputy Director of Customs Control and Supervision Department. These Decisions took effect from 1st January 2019.

Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can awarded the Appointment Decisions and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Nhat Kha and Mr. Tran Duc Hung.

Assigning tasks to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Kha, Director General Nguyen Van Can desired that as the Acting Director of Risk Management Department, with his qualification, ability and responsibility, Mr. Kha together with the leaders of the Risk Management Department will continue to lead the Department in the forthcoming future to obtain new achievements.

The Director General also desired that Mr. Tran Duc Hung needs to promote the coordination and solidarity, together with the leaders of the Customs Control and Supervision Department to advise the leaders of the General Department of Vietnam Customs to direct local departments in the Control and Supervision field.

Entering into the management phase, which is based on the technological foundation 4.0, the Director General requested the Risk Management Department and the Customs Control and Supervision Department to have the basis to classify enterprises and classify channel of declarations, specify between compliant enterprises and non- compliant enterprises , thereby, providing management measures towards facilitating trade but still satisfying management requirements.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Kha and Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung promised to actively strive to build the Risk Management Department and Customs Control and Supervision Department as the departments that develop in all aspects and meet requirements and tasks assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
