Already clear nearly 1,000 export declarations via Cat Lai port in the holiday

On April 30, Tran Phuong Nam, Head of Export Cargo Customs Procedures Team - Saigon Port area 1 Customs Branch, said that, on April 30 (up to 3:00 PM) the unit processed customs clearance for 40 export declarations.
The exported items were mainly fresh bananas, dragon fruit, pepper and seafood products.
Previously, during three holiday days (from 27 April to 29 April), the Export Cargo Customs Procedures Team processed customs clearance procedures for 931 export declarations, with a turnover of over $US72 million.
Thus, as of the afternoon of April 30, the Saigon Port area 1 Customs Branch processed customs clearance for 971 exports declarations through Cat Lai port. Export goods were mainly agricultural and aquatic products.
On April 27, the number of export declarations was very large by nearly 700 declarations, with a turnover of nearly $37 million. On April 29, there were more than 200 customs declarations cleared, with a turnover of nearly $30 million.
According to leaders of the Sai Gon port area 1 Customs Branch, during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year, the unit arranged customs officials to carry out clearance procedures for enterprises. During those days, enterprises mainly exported goods.
