980 enterprises have carried out customs procedures across Mong Cai Border Gate, increasing by 219 firms compared with the same period in 2023.
There are 441 new enterprises, an increase of 76 enterprises compared to the same period last year.
To facilitate businesses and promote import and export across the area, Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch has strengthened support and companion solutions to attract businesses to implement procedures across the area.
The branch has focused on promoting contact and grasping the operation of enterprises to promptly instruct and remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing policies, customs procedures, and HS code classification right from the time of receiving and checking Customs documents and procedures at border gates and border crossings.
In addition, the branch has maintained implementation of the Service Quality Assessment System for customs officer in performing customs procedures; implemented the Pilot Program to support and encourage businesses to voluntarily comply with Customs laws.
The branch has effectively performed customs inspection and supervision, risk management, post-clearance audit, customs control... to raise businesses' voluntary compliance with the law and promptly detect and handle violations, create a transparent, safe, favorable import-export environment to attract businesses.
As of July 15, Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch's revenue rose 56.7% year-on-year to VND1,213.3 billion, reaching 75.8% of the target assigned by Quang Ninh Customs Department.
