The law enforcement team inspect a warehouse containing infringing goods

Earlier, on May 22, Market Surveillance Team No. 2, Bac Ninh Market Surveillance Department coordinated with Yen Phong District Police and Economic Police Division, Bac Ninh Police to inspect a warehouse of Viet Tuong Thuan Co., Ltd (address in Dong Yen village, Dong Phong commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh).

The working team discovered 22,742 products including electronics, clothing, cosmetics, household electrical appliances, and household appliances showing signs of smuggling and unknown origin.

After the investigation and determination of violations of the company, the Bac Ninh Market Surveillance Department submitted to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province to issue a decision to fine VND 360 million for Co., Ltd. Viet Tuong Thuan for trading in smuggled goods and unknown origin goods; and seize 22,742 infringing products and goods, worth over VND5 billion.
