54 heroin bricks in transnational drug line seized

According to Customs Newspaper, at 5:30 am on June 29, 2020 in Kim Chung overpass area in Bau hamlet, Kim Chung commune, Dong Anh district (Hanoi), the working group of Division 6 under C04 Department worked with Team 5 under the Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department (General Department of Customs), Technical Department - A06 (Ministry of Public Security), Coast Guard and Dong Anh District Police to arrest offenders for trafficking drugs from Dien Bien to Hanoi then to Cao Bang and China for consumption.

Three offenders were caught in the act, namely Thao A Gau (born in 1990); Lau A Vu (born in 1998); and Ha A Nu (born in 1998). They all reside in Phi Nhu commune, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien province.

The seized goods were about 54 heroin bricks.

Notably, in the on-site investigation process, the forces arrested one more offender named Sung ACua, born in 1990, residing in Phi Nhu commune, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien province.

The case is being investigated.
