390 enterprises connect to VASSCM

VCN- A total 390 enterprises have connected to the Vietnam Automated system for seaport customs management (VASSCM) at 33 of 35 local customs departments.

On May 28, Deputy Director of Customs IT and Statistics Department (under the General Department of Vietnam Customs) Le Duc Thanh said there are 390 warehouses, ports, bonded warehouses, yards and aviation warehouse operators connected to the VASSCM

Of which there are 240 warehouses, yards and port operators, 147 bonded warehouse operators and three aviation operators.

Thirty three of 35 local customs departments are connected to the VASSCM, these are departments accounting for most of the number of enterprises that must connect to the system.

The two customs departments that have not yet connected to the VASSCM are Kien Giang Customs Department and Ca Mau Customs Department.

The Customs IT and Statistics Department is expanding the connection to the VASSCM nationwide, including focusing on bonded warehouses and inland warehouses and yards.
