180 Johnnie Walker bottles "hitch-hike" tractors

In the Cutoms declaration by the company when doing customs procedures, 3 import cargo containers contained used tractors. However, Customs officers detected suspicious signs in 3 containers, then Customs Control collaborated with the Customs Branch of Dinh Vu port and the Risk Management Division (Hai Phong Customs Department) to examine the cargo. Finally, within 3 used tractors, Hai Phong Customs also discovered a total of180 bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch Whisky 12 year old, 40% alc/vol, each bottle capacity of 1.750ml, without declaration.   

Imported alcohol as imported goods must be licensed under the provisions of Decree 94/2012/NĐ-CP of the Government.

In regard to this case, the Customs Control Team has reported to the leader of Hai Phong Customs Department to transfer the dossiers, and proof of violation to the Anti-Smuggling unit in order to process and deal with the case according to the Law.
