Tra Linh Customs collaborate to seize 700 kg of smuggled fireworks from China

On 26/3, leader of Tra Linh Customs Branch said that, at 2:00AM, during the patrol of 3 competent forces from the border area to the area of Thin Phong village, Quang Han commune, Tra Linh District, they discovered a subject while he was carrying smuggled firework.

The subject who drove a truck containing prohibited goods is Đàm Văn Hợp – lives in Thin Phong village, Quang Han commune. At the time of the discovery, the competent force detected 36 packages of box type fireworks and 6 packages of line type fireworks on the truck with license plate, 11C-03152 driven by Hợp. The total weight was 704kg and all goods were made in China.

At present, the competent force is handling in accordance with regulation. This is considered as one of the largest smuggled Chinese firework cases in Cao Bang area in recent years.
