According to HCM City Market Surveillance Department, the Market Surveillance Team 12 under the Department cooperated with the city’s police authorities to inspect CRY Cosmetics Import and Export Co., Ltd, located at CityLand Park Hill, Ward 10, Go Vap District and Dong Hung Thuan Ward, District 12 in the city.

Through inspection, the working team discovered 20,586 products valued at more than VND2.5 billion with suspected signs of smuggling.

All these products were without invoices or documents, violating regulations on goods labels; without announcement record on cosmetic and food products issued by China, Japan, Australia, Germany, Korea, etc., such as cotton makeup remover, toilet tissue, mask, anti-wrinkle eye roller, shampoo, ginseng juice, blood oxygen meter, toothpaste, shower gel, milk powder, cake, dried apple, cordyceps mushroom, and antiseptic throat spray.

The working team has seized the infringing products for further investigation.
