Tax departments of Hanoi, Quang Ninh and Hai Duong drastically prevent and fight Covid-19 pandemic

After the Covid-19 pandemic developed complicatedly, the Hanoi Tax Department immediately issued an official dispatch directing tax authorities to strengthen communication and encourage all officials to understand the risk of infection with a new variant of the virus, absolutely do not be subjective, not let the pandemic spread to the community, improve self-awareness and take initiative in accountability in disease prevention.
The Hanoi Tax Department has also activated anti-pandemic measures at the department and tax branches, arranged sufficient conditions and materials for pandemic prevention, and regularly disinfected at its headquarters. The department also recommended that officials and visitors who come to work must wear masks, sanitise their hands often and keep their contact distance.
The Hanoi Tax Department told the leaders of units to be responsible for pandemic prevention. At the same time take responsibility when organisations and individuals of the unit violate regulations related to pandemic prevention.
At Hai Duong Tax Department, realising the Covid-19 pandemic was still complicated, from the first days and months of the year, Hai Duong Tax Department directed functional departments and branches to focus on revenue collection measures. As of January 28, 2021, the unit has collected more than VND 1,833 billion, 16.6% of the current appropriation, increasing 16% over the same period.
To ensure the revenue collection progress, Hai Duong Tax Department has implemented pandemic prevention measures in accordance with Decisions 15 and 16 of the Government. The tax sector has well implemented electronic tax declaration and payment, so businesses do not face difficulties when declaring and paying taxes and Hai Duong Tax Department has deployed communication to support when receiving information about support by phone and by mail to respond immediately and promptly to taxpayers.
In Quang Ninh, Cao Ngoc Tuan, Director of the Tax Department of Quang Ninh, reorganised and asked officials of the whole department to seriously implement pandemic prevention. At the Single Window division at the department and tax branches, they must prepare masks and alcohol spray to provide to visitors when they come to make transactions. All officials must wear masks and not gather in crowded places.
