Strengthen inspection and assessment of customs law compliance

VCN – The General Department of Vietnam Customs has requested attached units to strictly implement tasks on checking documents and supervising on law compliance. In particular, closely working between supervision and evaluation of the law enforcement with enhanced document checking throughout the sector.

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, monitoring and evaluation of law enforcement must be integrated into and inherit the results of document checking.

For legal normative documents and administrative documents containing legal documents, the General Department of Vietnam Customs requested units self-check documents promulgated and checked by competent advisory units in accordance with their competence and legal documents promulgated by leaders of all levels with regulations related to the customs sector.

The units need to focus on checking and detecting mistakes in the content of the documents. The legal basis for determining the illegal content of the document to be examined is the legal document with higher legal effect and valid at the time the document is being examined.

In addition, units can find out more information about the violation of the text on the mass media.

For supervising law enforcement, the General Department of Vietnam Customs requested the units monitor the law enforcement situation, disseminate, thoroughly grasp and train legal documents on the new customs field to be promulgated.

Ensure the promulgation schedule and quality of legal documents stipulating the implementation of legal documents.
