To strengthen the inspection of imported steel products, the General Department of Customs issued Official Dispatch 1487 / TCHQ-TXNK dated February 13, 2015 and Official Dispatch 10018 / TCHQ-TXNK dated October 28, 2015. Since these inspection measures have been applied, they have contributed to strictly controlling the import of steel products and avoiding problems arising related to this item.
So far, to improve the cross-border trade transactions index according to the Government’s Resolution No. 02 / NQ-CP dated January 1, 2019 on continuing to perform tasks and solution to improve the business environment and national competitiveness in 2019 and giving orientations to 2021, the General Department of Customs removed customs inspections under the guidance of the above two Official Dispatches.

Accordingly, the customs inspection for steel products guided in Official Letter 1487 / TCHQ-TXNK dated February 13, 2015 and Official Dispatch 10018 / TCHQ-TXNK dated October 28 / 2015 shall comply with the provisions of the Customs Law and guiding documents.
