Recruiting 53 officers into the customs sector without examination

Accordingly, the Customs Department will organize a meeting to explain the hiring decision of successful candidates on September 30th, 2016.
At the same time, the General Department of Customs has decided to send 53 successful candidates to the Customs operation class for new civil servants. The candidates are going to attend the opening ceremony and start studying from October 3rd, 2016.
Reportedly, after finishing the class, new officers will present at the recruitment unit on December 1st, 2016 to be assigned new positions.
On the other hand, the General Department of Customs will guide the Customs Departmentsof provinces and cities to promulgate the decision that receiving and assigning new officers, and appointing experienced officers to instruct the interns. Along with that, the departments instruct new officers to enumerate the personnel records as prescribed, with reference to the certified copies of the candidates’ original degree before filing.
Reportedly, this recruitment complies with Circular 13/2010/TT-BNV from the Ministry of Interior. The53 successful candidates are all valedictorians or students graduated with excellent degrees from home or abroad universities, with suitable Customs related majors.
Tee General Department of Customs has also requested the Customs Departments of the provinces or cities which receive the new officers to inspect and verify the candidates’ backgrounds and degrees according to the law. All the cases that do not qualify need to be reported to the General Department in time to consider cancellation of the recruitment decisions.
