Accordingly, the Tax Department is continuing to maintain and promote the implementation of online public services at level 3 and 4 at all stages in the tax administration.
Furthermore, the use of e-invoices is also promoted by the Hanoi Tax authority. There were 149,691 enterprises and organisations in Hanoi which have registered to issue electronic invoices (reaching nearly 100%) as of August 20.
In addition, this unit is also continuing to implement the project of e-commerce and non-cash tax payment for business households.
However, according to the Hanoi Tax Department, the scope of tax administration is expanding, the number of enterprises managed by tax authorities changes constantly, leading to the increase in the volume of information on business management. This is one of the major challenges the tax sector and Hanoi Tax Department are facing.
Therefore, developing applications for internal management, while providing good support to taxpayers is one of the important tasks that should be prioritized.
In order to successfully implement digital transformation, Hanoi Tax Department sets a target that Hanoi Tax Department will be one of the leading tax departments in the country in digital transformation, information technology application and network security by 2022, strive to bring 100% of tax administrative procedures to the online system, integrated with the National Public Service Portal.
