According to the Sai Gong Newport Corporation, the above imported goods have been at the port for over 90 days but the goods owners have not made procedures to receive goods yet.
The inventories at port are mostly plastic wastes, chemicals and frozen fishery products and fishery nets.
According to the Customs Branch at the Sai Gon Port Zone 1, to handle the inventories, the unit has announced to the owner/transporter of imported inventories that within 60 days since the date of first announcement, if the owners/transporters do not come the Port to receive the goods, they must be handled in accordance with Customs procedures and pay the fines under the law on fines for administrative violations in the Customs field and other fees arising from delay in goods receiving.

Over 60 days since the date of first announcement, the above goods have not been received; the Customs authorities will handle the inventory under provisions of Circular No. 203/2014/TT-BTC dated 22 December 2014 of the Ministry of Finance.
