According to Saigon Port Area 1 Customs Branch, by the end of June 2022, 73 containers and 33 imported bulk shipments at Cat Lai port are 90 days overdue but have not yet been received.

To handle the above backlogged goods, Saigon Port Area 1 Customs Branch notified relevant organizations and individuals to find the owners of these shipments.

It is known that the above goods were imported to Cat Lai port from the beginning of 2022. The goods are declared on the manifest as mainly consumer goods, scrap, raw materials.

According to the Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch, after issuing a notice of finding the goods owner according to regulations, if an importer does not carry out relevant customs procedures, the customs branch will handle the goods according to the law.
