More than 3 million dossiers implemented via National Single Window Mechanism

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs – Permanent Agency of National Steering Committee on NSW, ASW and trade facilitation, to May 15, there were 13 ministries, sectors connected to the NSW with 198 administrative procedures.
Notably, the total number of administrative dossiers processed on the National Single Window Portal reached approximately 3.07 million of more than 38,400 enterprises.
Regarding the implementation of the ASW, until now, Vietnam has connected officially to the ASEAN Single Window to exchange information on e-C/O form D with nine ASEAN members.
Updated from implementation (January 1, 2018) till May 15, the total number of C/O receiving from other ASEAN countries was 213,827 C/Os and the total number of C/O sending to ASEAN countries was 375,473 C/Os.
Besides connecting new procedures and ensuring operation of the system, the General Department of Vietnam Customs is finalising the dossier for proposing to formulate the Government's decree on connecting and sharing information between competent authorities and stakeholders through the National Single Window in the field of import, export and transit of goods.
Along with that is completing the overall project on building and developing IT systems for deploying the NSW and ASW towards the centralised processing orientation.
Another document that has been developed is the decision on amending and supplementing Decision No. 1254/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister dated September 26, 2018 promulgating the action plan for implementation of NSW, ASW and reforming the specialised inspection of imported, exported goods and trade facilitation in 2018-2020.
Regarding Single Window Mechanism connection with non-ASEAN partners, the Ministry of Finance is working with ministries and sectors to negotiate to finalise the protocols, unify technical requirements and build systems to exchange customs declaration information and certificates of origin with the Eurasian Economic Union; negotiate to exchange information on electronic C/O with South Korea and certify electronic quarantine with New Zealand.
