Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment yet to implement National Single Window

Results of the implementation of NSW in Department of Environment and Natural Resources are low.

According to the General Department of Customs – The Permanent Agency National Steering Committee on ASEAN National Single Window mechanism and NSW, overseeing the implementation of NSW in the Ministry of Natrual Resource and Environment, from November 2015, the Permanent agency published a guidance document on implementation of NSW for import procedures for Polyol premixed – HCFC141b; procedure for cross-border transportation of hazardous waste; and export of HCFCs.

The document has been received and confirmed by NSW representation agency of the Ministry of Natrual Resource and Environment. However,by the end of June 2016, the Permanent Agency has not received a formal implementation plan from the Ministry of Natrual Resource and Environment.

To ensure the implementation of NSW under the direction of the Prime Minister and enabling the local Customs departments perform procedures on the NSW portal with relevant procedures above of the Ministry of Natrual Resource and Environment, the Permanent Agency instructed the Ministry to set a formal implementation plan as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Natrual Resource and Environment connected to NSW from 9 May 2015 however, only a few documents so far have been resolved through the NSW.
