VCN – Through inspecting many express delivery parcels, the Customs force discovered goods that are suspected of being cannabis and synthetic cannabis.

On June 29, Anti-drug Enforcement Team, Ha Noi Express Customs Branch (Hanoi Customs Department), together with other competent forces conducted inspections on many parcels showing suspected signs at the postal warehouse.
The initial results showed that the parcels (including imports and exports) contained goods suspected of being cannabis and synthetic cannabis that was hidden inside coffee boxes, chocolate boxes, cigarette packs, or even inside marker pens.
According to Hanoi Express Customs Branch, these were backlogged parcels at the postal warehouse.

It is known that, in this examination, the competent force would conduct an inspection for 17 postal and express delivery parcels that were suspected of containing drugs. For goods that were suspected of being cannabis and synthetic cannabis, samples were taken for inspection and verification.
Currently, many parcels are being inspected by the Customs authority for clarification.
