The Southern Anti-Smuggling Enforcement Unit (Unit 3) under the Anti-Smuggling Investigation Department, the General Department of Customs, is investigating and verifying law violation signs of 60 containers of Senegal rosewood at Cat Lai port in HCM City.

This shipment was transported from Nigeria to Cat Lai port. According to the bill of lading, the consignee in Vietnam is a company located in Binh Duong. However, this company refused to receive the goods.

Currently, the customs office is expanding its investigation, so the owner of the above goods is requested to contact Unit 3 at the address: 5th Floor, No. 15B, Thi Sach Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Within 30 days from the date of notification, if the owner does not contact the customs agency to receive the goods, the above goods will be handled according to the provisions of law.
