Lang Son: 11.8 percent of samples increase tax through goods verification

Among those samples, 105 samples had their tax increased (accounting for 11.8 percent); 156 samples enjoyed decreased tax (accounting for 17.6 percent); 214 samples changed code without changing tax rate (accounting for 27.1 percent) and 386 samples matched the declaration (accounting for 43.5 percent).
According to Customs Branch of Good Verification No.6, receiving samples for processing has been ensured as well as coordinated with customs branches under Lang Son Customs Department in receiving samples for analysing and no mistakes have occurred yet.
On the other hand, the received samples were diversified regarding types and uses, with samples of chemicals, chemical products and textiles, iron and steel accounting for a high percentage.
The results of Customs Branch of Good Verification No.6 changed 56.5 percent of declared samples of enterprises.
Besides that, most of the results that proposed code were used as a basis for issuing a notice of classification results by General Department of Vietnam Customs.
The customs branch has met requirements and coordinated well with local customs units to perform the task of controlling goods and strictly followed policies on import and export goods such as iron ore and aluminum ore exports to prevent mistakes.
