VCN – The market management force of Quang Ninh province detected and arrested 2 trucks of contraband, containing Christmas trees.

According to the National Steering Committee 389, in Dam Ha district, market management team No.12 inspected a car which registered number 38B-01004, driven by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (freight owner) living in Kim Lien, Nam Dan, Nghe An province. The team discovered in the car: 3 Christmas trees height 1,8m; 120 pairs of pants stockings; 15 male tracksuits; 276 pairs of male socks; 159 bras; 1,080 pairs of knickers; and 38 containers of all kinds of enamelled tiles. The market management team No. 12 made a decision to fine Mr Anh Tuan the sum of 7.5 million VND and confiscated the infringing goods.

On the same day, the Market Management Team No. 14 (The Anti-Smuggling Squad) inspected a car with registered number 34C - 111.38 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Luong, living in Hai Yen, Mong Cai, Quang Ninh province. The team detected 300kg of frozen chicken feet and 800kg of frozen beef. The market management team No.14 reported to Quang Ninh market management sub-department and issued a decision to fine Mr Van Luong 20 million VND, seized and destroyed all infringing goods.
