HCM City: More than half of post-clearance audit cases related to export processing and production

Accordingly, HCM City Customs Department issued 120 decisions on post-clearance audits and 73 decisions on tax assessment with a total tax amount and fines of VND7.8 billion.

The Post Clearance Audit Customs Branch issued 41 decisions on post-clearance audit and 37 decisions on tax assessment and collected about VND6 billion, meeting 7.32% of the target.

There were 3 post-clearance audits on goods value, 15 audits on goods code, 22 audits on export processing and production and 2 audits on goods origin.

Regarding the post clearance audit at seaports. The branch performed 79 decisions on post-clearance audits and 36 decisions on tax assessment and collected about VND2 billion.
