In the group of customs branch outside of border-gate, the Investment and Processing Customs Branch is the leading unit in the number of declarations; while Thai Binh Customs Branch has the lowest number of declaration with 34,550 dossiers.

Therefore, although the number of declarations is huge enterprises are entitled to tax incentives. Thus the revenues which come from non-border gate branches are not high.
The revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department is focused on four border-gate customs departments, but they have the most enterprises which imported consumer goods, machinery and equipment with great value, high tax rates like completed cars; machines; devices; iron and steel.
According to the last updated in May, four border-gate customs branch (Hai Phong port area I customs branch, Hai Phong port area II customs branch, Hai Phong port area III customs branch and Dinh Vu port Customs Branch) reached 21,478 billion VND, accounting for over 72% of the total revenue of the Department.
