Ha Tinh Customs Department collected revenue exceeding target

The statistics showed that at present, the number of enterprises coming to Ha Tinh Customs Department has been continuously raising with over 454 enterprises, increased by 12.6% compared to the same period in 2017. Also, the unit has completed procedures for 10,547 declarations with export turnover of $US 2.976 billion, increased by 90.94%, compared to the same period last year.

Ha Tinh Customs has also carried out 27 inspection of post clearance audit, in that 17 inspection were conducted at the offices of customs declarants and 10 inspection were conducted at customs office, and collected over 9.6 billion VND; detecting, seizing and handling 397 violations and budget remittance of over 7.5 billion VND; chairing and coordinating the arrest of 19 drug cases, transporting firecrackers; forgiving debt and reducing debt for 4 businesses that owe tax debts over 10 years with total amount of 42.6 million VND ...

To achieve this outstanding result, according to Mr. Luong Truong Tho, Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department, in 2018, the unit has constantly reformed and simplified administrative procedures, electronicized customs procedures, contributing to reducing the time for cargo clearance, and timely settlement of arising problems related to customs procedures and tax policies. In particular, the unit has been constantly interested in supporting newly established enterprises that have opened declarations for the first time, building and developing Customs - Business partnerships to become increasingly stronger.

With the active and efficient work of the leadership in management and deployment of practical jobs, Ha Tinh Customs has created the trust of import-export businesses, contributing to the situation of imports and exports prospering in Ha Tinh.

Mr. Luong Truong Tho emphasized that although the unit has successfully completed tasks in all fields of work, the unit always determined to strengthen the management of budget revenue, facilitating the import and export activities of enterprises in the area when doing customs procedures as the first priority for tasks in the last days of 2018. Therefore, Ha Tinh Customs has directed customs branches to allocate human forces, facilitated enterprises, promptly solved cargo clearance for businesses, and disallowed the situation of backlogged goods at the seaports and border gate. Especially, arranging and assigning customs officials to work on the days of 29, 30, 31/12/2018 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).
