VCN – The Border Defence, Customs and Police force coordinated to arrest two people transporting heroin and synthetic drugs in the area of Moc Chau district, Son La province.

At 5:00 PM on November 10, in the area of Bo Sap village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province, the working group of Long Sap Border Guard Station worked with the Long Sap Customs Branch (Dien Bien Customs Department), Anti-Drug and Crime Prevention Division (Border Defence force of Son La), Moc Chau District Police to detect two people with many suspicious signs.

At the scene, the working group arrested two people, Thao A Lu (born in 1981 and residing in Pung village, Sop Bau district, Hua Phan province, Laos) and Mua A Da (born in 1989 and resident in Muong village, Sop Bau district, Hua Phan province, Laos).

Through inspection, the competent force discovered a white plastic bag which was concealed on a body containing white powder and one plastic container of pink tablets.

Through struggling on the spot, those people confessedand the exhibits that were seized were 190 grams of heroin and 118 tablets of synthetic drugs.

Currently, all case dossiers have been completed and handed over to competent agencies for further investigation.
