VCN –Tax and Customs authorities have ceased Customs procedures for a company in HCM City due to its overdue domestic tax debts of VND260 billion (more than US$11 million).

The Investment/Processing Customs Branch under HCM City Customs Department has issued a decision on stopping customs procedures for Industrial Construction Joint Stock Company (in District 1, HCM City) as the company has failed to comply with the decision on administrative sanction for overdue 90-day tax payment issued by HCM City Tax Department, according to the Investment/Processing Customs Branch.

The decision issued by Investment/Processing Customs Branch took effect on July 20, 2021 and will be invalid when the firm pays the fine.
