The Investment Customs Branch of HCM City Customs Department has issued a decision on law enforcement by stopping customs procedures for exported and imported goods of Saicom (address: 69 Ngo Tat To, Ward 21, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, tax code 0302905164) to enforce the content of Official Dispatch No. 6808/CTTPHVM-ỌLN dated July 26, 2021 of HCM City Tax Department.
The reason for applying law enforcement is that Saicom owed tax debt of more than 90 days since the deadline for tax payment, with an amount of over VND11.3 billion.
This Decision takes effect for a period of a year from August 6, 2021. The decision will be terminated from the time the debt is fully paid into the state budget.
In order to cooperate effectively in tax debt recovery, HCM City Tax Department has sent a document to HCM City Customs Departments to ask for coordination in applying coercion for enterprises intentionally delaying tax payments. HCM City Customs Department has assigned the customs branch to coordinate in applying coercive measures by stopping import-export procedures for many cases.
